Sherri Johnson, Co-Founder, President and CEO

Sherri has over 20 years of operational/management experience. Sherri has held operational roles which focused on recruiting and retention strategies, orientation, training, career development and planning. She has also held operational roles with direct P & L responsibility. Sherri has developed and successfully executed new programs and practices to drive high performance and retain top talent through skill building, performance management and the implementation of recognition programs.


Prior to the creation of Bear Staffing Services, Sherri has served in executive management positions most recently as VP of Loss Prevention at Commerce Bank, as well as executive positions in Advanta National Bank (Business Card Call Center Division) and the JC Penney Company.


Since co-founding Bear, Sherri has maintained a Hands-On approach to service delivery. She is accessible to both clients and employees, while guiding and directing Bear's recruiting and fulfillment function.

Gary Johnson, Vice President and COO

Gary Johnson is the Executive Vice President, COO and co-founder of Bear Staffing Services Inc. During his 20+ years in the Staffing Solutions industry, Gary has led successful start up, turn around and expansion efforts, on both a national and regional scale. He has been described as an "action oriented problem solver" able to break issues down into processes that could be repeated, measured and improved, thus driving increased revenue and profitability. Gary is known for increasing efficiency and quality through effective use of Human Capital.
